With whom do you work?
My clients are women, teens, and men. My area of specialty is personal appearance. I work with individuals, not corporations.
Which areas do you serve?
Car travel within an hour round-trip from Palo Alto, CA is included; other travel is by arrangement.
How long will our work together take?
Every client’s needs are different. I will assess your needs and create personalized recommendations for our work together during a complimentary consultation. However, the care and curation of a highly functional wardrobe does take time. I can give you the tools to do this for yourself, or do it for you.
Some clients schedule appointments a couple of times a year to be ready for a change of season, others use my services regularly for upcoming events and packing for travel; still others call only when they need my expertise, for example, to check their own purchases and update eyewear.
How should I plan for our appointment?
It depends on the services provided. Karen will discuss specifics and email instructions in advance..
How are your services priced?
I charge by the hour or the service, and can create a custom package for you. We’ll discuss your budget preferences during your complimentary consultation. Payment is by cash or check at the end of our appointments.
Will you make me throw out all of my clothes and buy new?
Everyone is different, but one of my strengths is helping you work with what you have. Clients can also connect with my great local resources for tailoring, wardrobe care, makeup and eyewear.
